I don’t know what is going on, but I swear each month gets better and better. Through luck of the draw, the person I get as my Foodie Penpal just KNOWS what I want!! I mean, I give a little guidance, but goodness gracious–they just know and it’s ON POINT.

Take for instance this month. To kick off 2013′s Foodie Penpals, Mariana was chosen as mine. I told her I liked dark chocolate, protein bars, and general healthy/clean eating type stuff. I have no food allergies, am not vegan or vegetarian, and am open to trying anything pretty much.

Feast your eyes upon my stash:

Would you look at that?! The girl got me beer! I LOVE BEER!!! I don’t even think I mentioned that, but heck, I was hella happy to get it!

Me and the hubby ate the Indian food right away. I added some chicken breasts and pretty much the rest was from her. Instant exotic dinner courtesy of this chick. I was happy!

The beer was consumed immediately.

I’m still working on the dark chocolate…moderation, people. Moderation!

And the Clif and Luna bars are at the office in my desk for when a snack attack happens.
