It’s easy to see that I love knee highs. Take a stroll through my pictures on Instagram and you’ll see that for most of my workouts, I’m wearing a pair. Maybe it’s because I’m a 70s baby and they were all the rage then and that fashion sense never left me. Maybe it’s because they’re bright and colorful and a fun way to spice up my gym attire. Or maybe it’s because they just look hot. Whatev. Me and knee highs just go together.

So color me excited when I was offered to review a pair of PowerSox! Any pair was up for grabs, but I quickly searched for the knee highs. Duh. On a mission, it didn’t take me long. I found the Perfect Fit® Allsport Performance socks.

They come in a rainbow variety of colors! At first I was like, “I want ALL the colors!!” But I chose Carolina Blue. I live right outside Chapel Hill, NC, and there is NO other color around these parts but Carolina Blue. Plus, I have a race coming up and they would have been PERFECT for them! My selection for the review was made.

Haha, but sadly, that color was no longer in inventory. Bummer! So I chose the next color that I didn’t have in my inventory–the Royal Blue. As luck would have it, it’s the most anti-Carolina color, being very similar to a Duke Blue! Haha, oops. Well, I don’t follow college basketball anyhow so who the heck cares. I had to more importantly think about what would match my outfits, right?!

A few days later, the Perfect Fit® Allsport Royal Blue socks arrived. Not one pair, but two! Woo hoo! Right away I realized I really loved the color and made a good decision. I have a crazy amount of this bold, royal blue and didn’t have the socks to match. Now I did. Couldn’t wait to tear them out of the package and take a closer look.

Upon first glance, I noticed how thick they were–no cheapo socks here. I swear most of my socks are starting to get a hole in the toe area. There’s  no way that’s going to happen with these–finally!! These are Gold Toes!!! That “ROX my SOX off!!”

They were also a great length. I like the top of my socks to show at the top of my boots {we’re talking about when I wear them for non-workout purposes here} so they can be all matchy-matchy with my outfits. Also, I just generally like them to look like knee highs and not midcalf socks. I don’t do midcalf socks–looks weird to me.

It was time to test them out for my gym sesh. I can easily see how these would be great for you CrossFitters out there. They are thick and would really protect those shins from the barbell action. I loved them for the comfort–they didn’t slip down my legs, had great arch support and cushioning, and are moisture-wicking so my feet stayed dry. These will also be making my runs happy and carefree in that case!

So once I love something, I always try to share with you if the opportunity arises!! The good peeps at PowerSox are offering to let me give away a pair to one of you!!
